Dusten Brown is shown after his arrest in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma August 12, 2013, in this booking photo provided by the Sequoyah County Jail. A 3-year-old Native American girl known as "Baby Veronica" will not immediately be transferred from the custody of her Oklahoma biological father to a South Carolina couple who adopted her, the Oklahoma Supreme Court has ruled. The ruling, which was made on August 31, 2013 although the information only became available on the court website on Tuesday, means that Veronica will stay for now with her biological father, Dusten Brown, who is a member of the Cherokee Nation.
