Joe was unhurt. Joe and and his father Don Wales come from a famous family who have been setting land and water speed records since 1924. He is the grandson of Sir Malcolm Campbell and nephew of Donald Campbell. Don holds the current UK record of 137 miles an hour reached at Pendine Sands in 2000.
