Brothers Ferdinand Kovac (C), Jaroslav Kovac (L) and Vladimir Kovac work on the longest Easter stick made from willow trees in their garden in the village of Horovce, 165 km (102 miles) north of Bratislava April 2, 2012. The 66 metre-long stick-willow will be the largest to be made in Slovakia and will qualify for entry in to the Slovakian Book of Records upon finishing. During Easter tradition Slovak boys symbolically whip girls on their legs in a custom believed to ensure a woman's fertility and beauty. less
