A first of its kind bacteria fighting gum could help soldiers maintain better oral health. A gum that has adopted the nick name "combat gum" is in the beginning phases of a clinical trial that will be lead by the Indiana University Oral Research Institute. The gum was developed by army scientists Dr. Kai Leung. After a lengthy process IU was chosen to test the safety of the product. less
