A child lifts weights at a gym in the Centro Alcance of the Nueva Capital impoverished neighbourhood in Tegucigalpa November 28, 2013. According to USAID, which funds the Centros Alcance (Outreach Centers), the centres are places where youths living in areas with high levels of violence and crime can seek refuge and indulge in sports, arts and other forms of entertainment, dissuading them from joining gangs or using drugs. The centres also provide training so people can develop job skills, improve academic performance and reduce school dropout numbers. REUTERS/Tomas Bravo (HONDURAS - Tags: SOCIETY) less
