    Coney Island's luck turns around

    Coney Island, until recently viewed as a seedy and dilapidated seaside park, is going through a transition and renewal, added retail and infrastructure. Coney Island's Luna Park had 640,000 visitors in 2011, the most since Steeplechase Park closed in 1964.
