Mami Koide, an artistic mother in Tokyo, has become an instant hit on Amazon Japan with a best-selling book of photos of her sleeping toddler surrounded by creative scenes that she says mirror her daughter's dreams. When baby Nuno is fast asleep, Koide creates entire worlds around her on the floor using everyday items like clothes, socks and vegetables. Koide began taking the photos to send to her bartender husband who worked late at night. Always a concerned mother, Koide said, "I'm still not confident whether she'll be happy and satisfied with what I'm doing without her permission while she is sleeping." However Koide does have many fans and her book's success has prompted the publisher to print more copies.
