FILE - In this May 9, 1996 file photo, Michael Moses Ward speaks to reporters outside the federal courthouse in Philadelphia. The Brevard County medical examiner's office says Ward, one of two survivors of the 1985 MOVE bombing in Philadelphia, died aboard a cruise ship in the Caribbean. An investigator says Ward was found in a hot tub Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 and appears to have drowned. Ward, formerly known as Birdie Africa, was a 13-year-old boy living with his mother at the compound of the militant group MOVE when Philadelphia police dropped a bomb on the roof, killing five children and six adult members of the group and incinerating 61 row homes.
