Dedication of the Flight 93 National Memorial

wow, it only took ten years to build a memorial? Those people act quick!

Before I say this, I don't want anyone to think that I'm non-patriotic but I feel that the government should be the ones to take care of all finances concerning flight 93. Rather you people believe it or not, that plane was shot down by the US Military and the government is trying to pull the wool over all American eyes (which is working). Anyone military or non-military should know the protocol. That plane was considered a rouge plane when air traffic control counldn't contact it. Planes had already crashed into the WTC and the PNTGN and the government didn't know where flight 93 was heading and considered it a enemy aircraft and the military gave the ok to shot them down. That's when they hatched this idea that passangers on the plane took over and crashed it, they didn't want to tell the truth that it was shot down. People wake up and stop believing everything your government tell you. Don't forget that this country was founded by criminals that England no longer wanted!!!!

The heroes of flight 93 gave their lives for this country, and I think they would think it foolish to put millions toward a momument at such a time with our economic emergency as we now face. If good sense was being used, a decent temporary notation of good taste with the promaise of making it right would be the thing to do. But we have the rich once again trying to squeeze another ten million toward a momument that in total comes to six-two million. Well we have already contributed enough to bring us to the point of a remaining ten million, and they are asking for more donations? this is rediculous. Time for the rich to step up and get their names noted and awards and the like and finish this if they think they cant wait. I did laugh when president clinton thought we had already taken care of this, wouldnt you have thought the government would have really shouldered this priviledge, sense the damage to the capital and surrounding areas were spared from these heros actions, yet once again its up to the unimportant average american that needs no assistance, or social security and can basically just live on the streets and starve, but dont forget to donate, donate, donate.

This is not the time to put some political color in these events. Let us remeber what those passengers & crews did to save the life of the nation. May God Bless the and their families. I SALUTE YOU...

The greatest qualities of Americans have been our ability to stand together in the face of challenge, to use our ingenuity to take on change, and to encourage others to find their individual strengths and voices. May the families find strength and courage in how many people care. May we all be inspired by the courage their family members showed. May we be united in the qualities that have always made Americans great!

They saved our capital; the greatest airline crew of all time!

I worked at the Flight Academy in System Operations Control (SOC) for American Airlines on 9/11/01. Even though everyone was in "shock" at the events, I witnessed first hand the company as a whole pull themselves together and work as a team: assembling the "Control Center," with not only top personnel representing the various departments, but our senior executives as well.

God Bless America and all who lost their lives that day. Also to those that survived( in New York and Washington), don't feel guilty you survived because you were meant to survive.

another 9/11 b.s report, greatness comes from doing things not talking about them, 10 years later , the media and the politicians are still playing us. I was in NEW YORK CITY in 1999, great place for business, I went back 2008 every other store is for sale, empty skyscrappers, a ghost neiborhoods.. WHY ?? CHINA.we depend on CHINA for everything.

Face it people! Flight 93 was shot down by U.S. Fighter Jets. Yes, I'm sorry for the people on board, but the Airplane had NO chance of ever landing in one piece! It does sicken me a bit how everyone sugarcoats this tragedy. Seems like the Families are "Famous" and also "Well off" since this happened. They are not the Heroes and I'm not sure if there are any heroes on the Flight, because all of the Heroes died. Some of the family members seem to think they are celeberties now, and that really bothers me. But in any case, the plane was shot down. I guess it was just a coincidence that the plane crashed FAR from any occupied structures. Wake up.
