According to a recently published study by Dr. Mohamed Bassiouny, a professor of Restorative Dentistry at Temple University School of Dentistry, diet coke can rot your teeth much like methamphetamine or crack-cocaine. He compared a diet coke addict (who has not seen the dentist in a very, very long time) to a meth addict and a crack-cocaine smoker and saw a "startling" similarity in tooth decay over a 3-5 year period. less
