Firefighters and law enforcement lined an Arizona highway and saluted a procession of fire vehicles from a doomed Hotshot crew that were removed from the scene of the deadly blaze. More than 100 people who lost their homes in a fire that devastated Long Island's Rockaway peninsula during Superstorm Sandy last fall have filed a lawsuit against the power companies they claim are responsible, according to their attorney. Firefighters battling wildfires across the nation are pausing to remember the 19 members of an elite crew who died in Arizona. Jim Whittington, spokesman for Southwest Incident Command Team, says firefighters in Arizona and across the U.S. are observing moments of silence to remember the Granite Mountain Hotshots. less
