NEW YORK, NY - DECEMBER 14: Christie's auction house employees speak on the phone to bidders under pictures of Elizabeth Taylor at Christie's, where hundreds of items once belonging to the iconic actress have gone on the auction block on December 14, 2011 in New York City. Taylor's jewelry collection, much of it given to her by Richard Burton, brought in a record-setting $115 million Ñ including more than $11.8 million for a pearl necklace. Sales of Taylor's clothing, art and other memorabilia are currently being held. Part of the proceeds from the auction will go to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
