New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton leaves the wake for NYPD officer Rafael Ramos at Christ Tabernacle Church in the Queens borough of New York, December 26, 2014. Hundreds of mourners are due to gather at a New York City church on Friday to pay their respects for Ramos, one of two NYPD policemen shot by a gunman who said he was avenging the killings this summer of unarmed black men by white officers. Ramos, 40, had been on the force for two years and was raising two teenage sons with his wife, Maritza, according to the church and city officials.
