Buckland Abbey staff prepare to hang a recently confirmed self-portrait of Rembrandt, with Curator of Pictures and Sculpture David Taylor, centre, discovered at the Devonshire Abbey in Skipton, England, in this photo dated Wednesday March 13, 2013. The masterpiece was gifted in 2010 to Britain's National Trust by the family estate of a wealthy property developer, and has now undergone detailed investigations led by the world's leading Rembrandt expert, Ernst van de Wetering, to determine its provenance before declaring it an original painting by the Dutch master. The painting is now valued at 20 million pounds and will be hung at Buckland Abbey for a few months before being sent for cleaning and further expert analysis including x-ray and tree-ring dating of the beech panel it is painted on.
