Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut speaks to the media following the sentencing of Jesse Litvak, a former Jefferies Group Inc managing director, in New Haven, Connecticut July 23, 2014. Litvak, 39, convicted of defrauding investors who traded mortgage bonds through a government program established after the 2008 financial crisis was sentenced on Wednesday to two years in prison. He was convicted on March 7 on all 15 counts, including 10 counts of securities fraud and one count of fraud under the federal bailout known as the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).
