A family leaves after receiving free toys during a Children's Day event at the Ishinomori Shotaro Manga Museum in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan, Thursday, May 5, 2011. The one-day event took place of what is usually a week-long festival, held for Golden Week, a string of national holidays during which many families travel around the country. It took place about two months after the dual tragedies, which left about 26,000 dead and missing and 130,000 in evacuation centers. In the background are Ishinomori's cartoon character "Cyborg 009 and a national flag with messages for the March 11 earthquake and tsunami victims written on it. less
