In this Feb. 22, 2011 photo provided by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, pronghorn antelopes race through an open field after their release into their new home by Texas state wildlife officials near Marfa, Texas. Two hundred of the Texas Panhandle pronghorns are being captured over several days and transported 500 miles to the Marfa area to bolster the diminished Trans-Pecos herd and help researchers determine why the West Texas herd has been in decline in recent years. An interagency cooperation contract between TPWD and Sul Ross State University will provide more funding for the relocation and study of pronghorn in the Trans Pecos Region. less
