This February 2013 photo shows a Key deer in the National Key Deer Refuge in the Florida Keys. It’s not unusual to spot the tiny animals with white tails by the side of the road or wandering on trails in the 8,000-acre National Key Deer Refuge in the vicinity of Big Pine and No Name Keys. The animals are endangered species. (AP Photo/Beth J. Harpaz) less
