FIE - In this Jan. 1, 2008 file photo, "Big Chief" Alfred Doucette, dances in a parade on Royal Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. When the Mardi Gras Indians take to the street the elaborate beads and waving feathers will stop traffic and start the cameras clicking. Now they hope that when those taking pictures of them and their suits resell them, they will be in line for some of that profit. Ashlye Keaton, an adjunct law professor at Tulane, has been working with the Mardi Gras Indians to help them copyright their costumes. less
