FILE - In this Aug. 3, 1982 file photo, two female Phalangist soldiers, Lebanese Christian Militia, talking with two Israeli soldiers at a street in Jounieh, east Beirut, Lebanon. The Lebanese civil war itself played out in several stages between 1975 and 1990. Over that time, Christians fought Palestinians, Lebanese Sunni and Shiite Muslims and Druse.
