FILE - In this Aug. 7, 1998 file photo, the U.S.S. Saratoga aircraft carrier is guided into Pier One of Coddington Cove in Middletown, R.I., by tugs after a five-day journey from the Philadelphia Naval Yard. The 1,039 foot aircraft carrier was decommissioned in 1994 after 42 years of service in the Navy. The carrier is supposed to be towed to Texas to be dismantled. But a family of Peregrine falcons made it their home and it can’t be moved until the fledglings are ready to leave the nest, delaying the carrier's final trip, likely in mid-August, 2014.
