FILE - Copilot Mimi Tompkins helps a man slide down a chute of a severely damaged Aloha Airlines 737 jet shortly after arrival in Kahului, Hawaii in this April 28, 1988 file photo. Pilot Robert Schornstheimer, at front of damaged section, looks on.The jet blew open at 24,000 feet when a 20-foot section of the aircraft's upper fuselage ripped off. An Aloha Airlines flight attendant was sucked out of the jet and killed, and 61 passengers were injured. less
