File - In this Dec. 5, 2010 file photo an Iberia plane taxis as a British Airways plane takes off at Barajas Airport in Madrid. Spain's national airline Iberia is to shed 4,500 jobs, reduce salaries and sell off 25 aircraft, its parent company International Consolidated Airlines Group, S.A. says. In a statement published through Spain's stock market regulator CNMV, IAG said Friday Nov. 9, 2012 that "Iberia will reduce salaries and improve productivity in its short & medium haul mainline operations" by implementing salaries and productivity levels for pilots and cabin crew as low cost carrier benchmarks.
