FILE - In this Feb. 21, 1988 file photo dissident Andrei Sakharov talks to western reporters after meeting the US Secretary of State George Schultz at his central Moscow apartment to discuss human rights. On Saturday, June 16, 2012 Aung San Suu Kyi , the 1991 Nobel Peace laureate, will give her much-awaited Nobel Lecture at Oslo City Hall, 21 years late. Soviet authorities barred dissident Andrei Sakharov from collecting the 1975 peace award and stripped him of his honorary titles. But his wife, Jelena Bonner, was able to accept the prize for him because she had been granted an exit visa to go to Italy to treat an eye disease before the prize announcement.
