FILE - This file image released Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 by the Supreme Council of Antiquities, shows colored inscriptions on a newly discovered tomb of an ancient beer brewer that is more than 3,000 years old, in Luxor, Egypt. Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, decreed new sales tax on cigarettes by up to 50 percent and on beer by 200 percent, the latest decision in a series of steep price hikes that aim to ease the country’s staggering budget deficit. Since coming to office last month, el-Sissi vowed to take tough decisions to deal with the country’s battered economy. (AP Photo/Supreme Council of Antiquities, File) less
