FILE - In this Jan. 17, 2007 file photo, Gu Kailai, left, wife of then Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai, right, attends a memorial ceremony for Bo's father Bo Yibo, a late revolutionary leader considered one of communist China's founding fathers, at a military hospital in Beijing. Hours after Gu Kailai poisoned a British businessman, she reached out to a trusted ally: Wang Lijun. Wang was Bo's chief of police and longtime collaborator. According to an account released Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 by the government's Xinhua News Agency, when a panicked Gu turned to Wang for assistance following the murder, Wang helped her cover up the crime.
