File - In this July 4, 2012 file photo provided by TSS Photography, 65-year-old Michael LeMaitre competes in the Mount Marathon race in Seward, Alaska. LeMaitre disappeared in the race. The rookie's disappearance during a popular extreme race on the mountain has led to new significant new rules in this year's event. Runners in the July Fourth race have to go halfway up Mount Marathon in an hour or they will have to turn around and participants also must sign a statement saying they've completed the entire race course all the way up the 3,022-foot peak. Organizers say the changes were prompted by the disappearance of LeMaitre, who was slower than average in his first time on the mountain.
