FILE-This June 15, 1974 file photo shows Arnold Palmer momentarily losing his cool after arrant tee shot from the 7th hole at Winged Foot Golf Club in third round of the 24th U.S. Open,in Mamaroneck, N.Y. This is known as the "Massacre at Winged Foot," though it could just as easily be called "Payback Time." A year earlier, on an Oakmont course softened by overnight rain, Johnny Miller became the first player to shoot 63 in the U.S. Open, and he remains the only player with a 63 in the final round of golf's toughest test. The USGA made sure that didn't happen at Winged Foot. (AP Photo,File) less
