FILE - In this March 30, 2010 file photo, serial killer Rodney Alcala listens as victim-impact statements are read in court in a Santa Ana, Calif., courtroom. A law enforcement official says Alcala has been indicted on murder charges in the deaths of Cornelia Crilley and Ellen Hover. Crilley was found strangled in her Manhattan apartment in 1971. Hover disappeared in 1977 and her remains were later found on an estate outside the city. A news conference is scheduled Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011. less
