A poll released by the Public Policy Institute of California, Wednesday, May 21, 2014, shows the two Republican candidates vying to challenge Gov. Jerry Brown are locked in a close contest for second place just weeks before the June 3 primary. Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, R-Twin Peaks has about 15 percent support among likely primary voters, while Kashkari has 10 percent.
