While the numbers are hard to quantify, executive recruitment consultants say they are noticing that it is becoming harder to attract top talent to China - both expats and Chinese nationals educated abroad. If the polluted skies continue, companies may have to fork out more money for their workers, settle for less qualified candidates or hire local workers instead of expats.
