FILE - In this Nov. 18, 1977 file photo, Roger Stockham, 30, is escorted by police after holding a psychiatrist hostage and surrendering in Los Angeles. Since holding the psychiatrist hostage in 1977, Roger Stockham has kidnapped his young son, tried to hijack a plane, crashed a plane, set fire to buildings, planted a bomb at an airport and threatened to kill the president. In his first public statements since his Jan. 24, 2011, arrest near the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Mich., Stockham told The Associated Press from Wayne County Jail that he meant to spray-paint an anti-Iraq war message on the mosque, but did not intend to use powerful fireworks he had with him in an attack. less
