FILE - In this Nov. 26, 1990, file photo, fighters of the Christians’ Lebanese Forces militia, stand next to their ammunition trucks during withdrawal from east Beirut, Lebanon. The Lebanese civil war itself played out in several stages between 1975 and 1990. Over that time, Christians fought Palestinians, Lebanese Sunni and Shiite Muslims and Druse.
