Hickory, who made history as the first-ever Scottish Deerhound to win "Best in Show" at the Westminster Dog Show, is pictured on a sofa at her breeder's 56-acre farm in Flint Hill, Virginia in this March 11, 2011 file photograph. Hickory, whose full name is Grand Champion Foxcliffe Hickory Wind, has delivered nine puppies via caesarean-section on October 9, 2011, two days past her due date according to Dr. Scott Dove who administered the delivery. The puppies, who were fathered by a dog from Quebec, Canada, were born weighing about one pound (454 grams) each are nursing well. This was Hickory's first litter.
