General Motors offered up the first retail 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 to the highest bidder during a Barrett-Jackson event at the Collector Car Auction in Palm Beach, Florida over the weekend. The winning bidder, NASCAR team owner and avid Corvette collector Rick Hendrick, ending up bidding $1 million for the car, the same amount he paid for the first 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible and $100k less than what he paid for the first 2014 Corvette Stingray. less
