For the first time in 16 years, Copenhagen's famed downtown amusement park Tivoli is replacing it's traditional Danish Yule theme with a Russian Christmas feel to draw more tourists. Park director Lars Liebst, left, displays a model of the theme, Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, and says the 10-million kroner ($1.8-million) investment includes a replica of Moscow's famed Red Square cathedral with its cluster of onion domes. During the Nov. 11-Dec.30 season, visitors will be able to ride a small-sized Trans-Siberian train through snowy landscapes with Christmas characters and Faberge egg decorations. A Russian-style Father Frost and a Snow Maiden will also replace Julemanden _ the Danish Santa Claus _ and his helpers. Tivoli gets around 800,000 visitors each winter.
