Ford and Chrysler enjoyed increased auto sales even as they raised the average price of their cars. General Motors sales fell for December but were still up for the year. Keith Bliss of Cuttone believes consumers have become accustomed to higher gas prices and no longer fear buying gas-guzzling trucks. Bliss also believes car buying will continue into 2014 as the average age of cars on the road remain high. Plus, as consumer confidence remains high people feel more comfortable buying cars. less
