Former President Jimmy Carter, right, and his wife Rosalynn help to build a home at a Habitat for Humanity project in Leogane, Haiti, Monday, Nov. 26, 2012. The former president and former first lady were both taking an active part Monday in the construction of 100 one-room houses on about 14 acres. Families will get to live in the homes rent-free for five years and then will have to pay a modest annual rent to the government. (AP Photo/Dieu Nalio Chery) less
