In this Friday Feb. 14, 2014 photo, people rebuild their homes as they recover from typhoon Haiyan that struck Tacloban city and nearby provinces in central Philippines, killing thousands of people and leaving a wide swath of destruction. On Saturday Feb. 15, 2014, Congressman Terry Ridon, an opposition lawmaker said in a statement, "a hundred days since the disaster struck and no pertinent plan of action has been implemented to address the needs of the areas struck by the Typhoon, leaving our countrymen helpless and dependent on humanitarian aid." Ridon has called for an in-depth review and assessment of the government’s rehabilitation plan. The country marks the 100th day on Sunday after the super typhoon devastated the central Philippines.
