Two college friends of accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev pleaded not guilty to charges of obstruction of justice and conspiracy, for allegedly removing evidence from Tsarnaev's dormitory room three days after the attack. BP is suing the U.S. government for barring the British oil giant from obtaining new federal contracts after the company pleaded guilty to charges related to the 2010 rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. The oil company claims the ban unfairly includes 21 of its subsidiaries that had nothing to do with the spill. When assigned to find James "Whitey" Bulger in 2000, then-Drug Enforcement Agency agent Pamela Hay had a problem: She wasn't convinced her FBI counterparts wanted to catch him. Bulger was found guilty of 31 of 32 counts, in a case that is a step towards redemption for the Boston office of the FBI. less
