German Chancellor Angela Merkel, left, speaks during a joint press conference with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in the prime minister's office in Jerusalem, Monday, Jan. 31, 2011. Netanyahu said Monday his country's primary concern is that the current crisis in Egypt could create a void in which Islamic militants step in and put the two countries' three-decade-long peace agreement in jeopardy. Merkel also expressed concern about the deteriorating situation in Egypt, while hoping that Israeli-Palestinian peace talks could get back on track. less
