The hands of two of the eight Route 30 public bus drivers are nailed to wooden crosses during a protest over their dismissals, in Luque, on the outskirts of Asuncion September 3, 2013. The bus drivers carried out the action following their dismissal by a transportation company after it rejected their plea for higher pay, and have been nailed down for 18 days, according to Olga Ferreira de Lopez, a member of Paraguay's House of Congress who is monitoring the situation.
