James Gerow and his family were sound asleep when they heard Christopher Lance Moore enter their Springtown, Texas home. Gerow grabbed his gun and confronted the intruder and took Moore's truck keys. After the would-be burglar refused Gerow's command to lay on the ground, Moore jumped into his truck and called 911 reporting, "I'm out in the country somewhere. Some guy’s got a gun on me." At the same time, James Gerow's wife, Lindy, was also contacting Parker County 911. James Gerow blocked Moore in with his own vehicle and they all waited until deputies arrived on the scene. There were no injuries and Moore was eventually taken into custody and is facing burglary charges. When Moore was later questioned by deputies he confessed that he had, "bad intentions." less
