Italian and Kenyan kayakers, Francesco Gambilla (L) and Seifudin Patwa respectively, set-off from Jinja in Uganda for Kenya on November 16, 2010 in an attempt to cross Africa's largest fresh water lake, Victoria, the source of the white Nile. The Lake Victoria Kayak Expedition 2010, a campaign to promote water-sport tourism on the lake will end in Kisumu on November 21, after covering 300 kilometres over five days and nights.
