Jake Adams, an exhibit maintenance supervisor at the American Museum of Natural History vacuums the 94 foot model of a blue whale that is hanging in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 in New York. The AMNH is giving a cleaning to one of its most popular exhibits a cleaning, the first in two years. The museum uses long-handled brushes and vacuums to get rid of dust and dirt. The whale model was first installed in 1969. It's based on a female blue whale that was found in 1925. The model is made of fiberglass and polyurethane. It weighs 21,000 pounds.(AP Photo/Mary Altaffer) less
