After New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie announced earlier that he has stopped a decades-in-the-making train tunnel connecting New Jersey and Manhattan, saying the state can't afford to pay for cost overruns on the already under-construction project, Assemblyman John Wisniewski, D-Parlin, N.J., chairman of the Assembly transportation panel, holds up a report Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, in Trenton, N.J., as he says the project should continue. "This devastating blow will hurt our state and its economy for generations to come," said Wisniewski, also chairman of the state Democratic organization. less
