U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and his Pakistani counterpart, Sartaj Aziz, say the U.S. and Pakistan will resume high-level negotiations over security issues. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Pakistan on an unannounced trip to discuss counter-terrorism efforts including drone strikes, border security with Afghanistan, and the strengthening of the country's economy. Secretary of State John Kerry said that Israeli and Palestinian negotiators would convene again in the Middle East within two weeks and that their goal would be to work out a comprehensive peace agreement within nine months. less
