MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - NOVEMBER 24: Jamie ( no surname given) who has now moved into his own flat after years of homelessness smokes a cigarette outside the Barnabus drop in centre on November 24, 2011 in Manchester, England. Barnabus provides food and help to the homeless and vulnerable in the city of Manchester and is funded entirely by donations. Staff at it's drop in centre are expecting an increase of people needing help over the Winter period and are hoping for extra donations of clothing, food and money. In the worsening economic crisis the national homeless charity Shelter estimates that a further 35,000 people across Britain could lose their homes between now and Christmas day.
