This March 10, 2014 photo released by Starpix shows director Rob Thomas, left, and Katie Thomas at the premiere of "Veronica Mars," in New York. Thomas realized he might make movie history by using Kickstarter to crowd-fund his “Veronica Mars” movie. He was less clear on what it meant to sign more than 5,000 movie posters as a promised reward for contributing backers. Of all the rewards offered to donors of “Veronica Mars” _ everything from a digital copy of the script for $10 to a walk-on cameo for $10,000 _ the most taxing pledge has been fulfilling the thousands of posters to be signed by Thomas and the cast.
