WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 12: A procession begins a Mass of Remembrance on the first annivesary of the Haitian earthquake at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception January 12, 2011 in Washington, DC. The basilica's Carillon bells tolled 35 times at the start of the mass to mark the 35-second duration of the 7.0 earthquake the killed more than 250,000 people and left more than 1.2 million homeless.
